For those using automatic credit card recurring payments with Gold Key, a provisional sale is processed at the beginning of the month in which your membership expires to verify the validity of your credit card.
Some card companies may send a payment notification when a transaction is pre-authorized, but the actual payment has not yet been processed at that point.
The actual payment of the annual membership fee will be processed between the 21st and the last day of the membership expiration month for members who have enabled automatic renewal as of the 20th of the membership expiration month.
