We are pleased to announce the release of the latest version of back number app, which includes a new feature called "listening party"!
To enjoy this feature, we kindly ask that you update the app.

1. Please update to the latest version of the app.

To participate in the "listening party," you must update to the latest version. Please update from the App Store or Google Play Store.

2. Regarding the holding of the first "listening party"

The inaugural listening party will be held after the Kumamoto performance of the currently ongoing stadium tour, "Grateful Yesterdays Tour 2026," featuring the tour setlist!

  • ● Date and Time: Sunday, June 28, 2026, 9:00 PM
  • ● Target content: “Grateful Yesterdays Tour 2026” setlist

3. Pre-release music streaming service integration

To participate in the listening party, you will need to install the "back number app" and use one of the following streaming services.

  • ● Eligible services: Apple Music (paid subscribers) or Spotify Premium subscribers
    *Please note that participation is not available with the free plan.
  • ● Eligibility: Even if you are not a "one room" member, you can participate if you have a Plus member ID (free).
  • *The comment function is for one room members only.

We anticipate congestion just before the event begins. Please complete the following procedures as early as possible.

4. Precautions for Use

  • ● Regarding the reset of comment rooms
    During the listening party, you can post and view comments in real time, The listening party ends when the last song on the playlist finishes. Please be aware that this will automatically reset (delete) any comments and room status that have been posted up to that point.
  • ● For those using Spotify on iOS devices such as iPhones
    This event is designed to be enjoyed in real time while the app is open, but if music is playing... When you close an app or switch screens by opening another app (such as LINE or social media) Occasionally, when the total playback time exceeds one hour, the connection with Spotify may be lost, causing the music to stop.
    If the music stops midway, please try again within the app. "Integrate with streaming services" Please reconnect (re-establish the connection).
  • ● For those using Spotify on an Android device
    While participating in the listening party, please turn off the Spotify app (prevent it from running in the background) and enjoy comments and music through back number app.
    If you are using the Spotify app while participating in a listening party via back number app, there may be a slight delay in the playback position of the playlist.
