"Koi wa Deep ni" is a drama that has already garnered the most attention this spring as the strongest romantic comedy ever, starring Satomi Ishihara and Go Ayano in their first drama collaboration and co-starring roles.
This marks the second time that they have provided the theme song for a drama starring Satomi Ishihara, the first being "クリスマスソング" for "5→9 ~From Five to Nine~" (Fuji TV, Mondays at 9pm) in 2015.

Putting aside what kind of band we are for the moment, we focused solely on what kind of character the songs born alongside this story have and what kind of outfits suit them best. It feels like we've returned to the process that back number has always valued and built upon.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how the drama that unfolds between Kaito and Rintaro, which doesn't seem like it will be easy to deal with, will meet, intersect with, and develop in relation to the drama of the two characters in this song.

Comment from Satomi Ishihara
When I first heard it, I thought it was a very bright and cheerful song that anyone of any age could hum along to. However, now that filming for the drama is progressing, when I listen to this song, even though it's supposed to be a cheerful song, it makes me feel sad and almost brings me to tears. My interpretation of the lyrics has clearly changed since I first heard it. Thank you, back number, for this song that's perfect for spring!

Comment from Go Ayano
A captivating theme song has been created. I instinctively felt that if we could deliver this drama enveloped in this "怪盗" theme, we could run to any heights. The feeling of someone cherishing someone else can change the world, far beyond race. I received a lot of courage from the lyrics and melody. The starting gun for a new story is finally being fired. The deepest love on earth, "Love is Deep," begins. Please look forward to it.

Comment from producer Yoko Edami
Just as falling in love can suddenly make the world, which seemed the same as before, begin to sparkle, I believe this song is filled with the scenery that can only be seen when you cherish someone. That's why bright and dazzling things sound so poignant and fleeting, and the power of this song makes my heart race! The excitement surrounding the filming set has also risen considerably. There are about two weeks left until the first episode, so I hope you'll look forward to it!
