The music video for "ARTIST," the B-side track from their new single "瞬き" (released December​ ​20th), is now available exclusively on video sharing sites!

"ARTIST" is the last track on the new single, and although it had been announced that it would be included, no audio of it had been aired until now.

The song features a straightforward rock sound, overlaid with cleverly twisted lyrics that songwriter and Iyori Shimizu describes as "like complaining, like sarcasm."

The music video for back number was directed by Shuichi Banba, who had previously worked on the "僕の名前を" music video and the live video release "All Our Yesterdays Tour 2017 at SAITAMA SUPER ARENA" released in November. Set in a fictional world where the lights of numerous mirror balls fly around, the video has a style unlike any of back number 's previous music videos.

Comment from director Shuichi Banba:

This music video deals with the world of show business and fake stars. The world of show business creates money-making mirrorball men, and singers unknowingly become mirrorball men themselves.

Is this light truly emanating from within me? Or am I merely reflecting someone else's light? I stand on stage, lost in thought. However, what if the one who saw through everything and was actually using it all was the singer...?
