"光の街" has been chosen as the theme song for NTV's "Tanabatarium"!

The song "光の街" from their 4th album "ラブストーリー" and best album "アンコール" has been chosen as the theme song for a new project by Nippon Television (NTV) based on the concept of Tanabata! -------------------------------------------------- "Send 'Your Wish' from Your Smartphone" This summer, NTV will propose new ways to enjoy Tanabata through the internet, programs, and events. The main initiative is "Tanabatarium". "Tanabatarium" is a digital art experience where you send "your wish," "a confession to someone you like," or "important feelings" from your smartphone or tablet, and they turn into stars in time with the music. The event venue is NTV Hall on the 2nd floor of NTV Shiodome. From July 1st (Sat) to 9th (Sun) <*closed on the 6th>, only 200 people per day who have made a reservation in advance can participate. The theme song that will play in the "Tanabatarium" space is "光の街" by back number, a three-member band popular with a wide range of people, especially young people. This is an unprecedented 360-degree space where the wishes you send in light up as "star letters" set to the music of "back number". Reservations for this real-life experience event are being accepted from Monday, June 19th at the "NTV Tanabata Site" (http://www.ntv.co.jp/tanabata/). Also, "Tanabatarium" can be experienced by anyone, anywhere! It's available online. Access the "Tanabata Site" from your smartphone. Send in your wish, and it will be transformed into a special video of star letters that you can easily share with your loved ones, family, and friends. This online version is available until Thursday, August 31st. Furthermore, the concept girl for "Tanabatarium" is a beautiful girl born on July 7th, Tanabata! It's Rikako Yagi, who is currently dancing in the center of the Pocari Sweat commercial. Tanabata concept videos featuring her, "Boyfriend Edition," "Family Edition," and "Best Friend Edition," are also available on the "Tanabata Site" (http://www.ntv.co.jp/tanabata/). May Tanabata, once a year, be a gentle day filled with warm words of "wishes," "gratitude," and "confessions" as people think of their loved ones. In the summer of 2017, Nippon Television will launch the Tanabata Project.
